The Smart USB Sensor (SUS™) is a compact embedded camera which includes a DSP video analyzer, for out-of-home digital signage and retail applications; primarily kiosks, vending machines and small screens. The SUS connects to a PC via a USB connection and can be employed for 2 main applications:

A PC software bundle provided with the SUS™, transfers audience measurement data to the TruMedia’s portal, where it can be viewed by authorized users. The SUS™ has a 90 degree field of view, and can detect viewers up to a distance of 5m. It is powered via a USB cable and requires no PC resources (i.e. PC resources are dedicated to the DS player).
